The COVID-19 health care crisis has challenged us to rethink the way we do business.

From the very beginning of the COVID-19 healthcare crisis, SEEC recognized the need to create a “go to” resource for small businesses.  It was from this realization that SEEC’s Resource Hub was born.

Paying a visit to the “Hub” offered businesses access to funding, timely articles, recently adopted legislation, and links to online training programs sponsored by state and federal agencies.  We felt that it was important to create a central place where entrepreneurs would be able to navigate the myriad of information circulating at the time.

Once the “go-to” information site, SEEC has transitioned it’s COVID Business Resource Hub into an important archival resource.  Moving forward, the newly launched SEEC website has become the “go to” for COVID-19 related business information.

Over the last several months, our focus has shifted to business reopening and priority needs such as public outreach campaigns, consistent enforcement, training and access to capital. Importantly, we have curated the funding resources for our region and provided direct links from our Funding Tools page.  The SEEC Resiliency Fund has awarded local money to local businesses adapting to the new normal and we continue to facilitate Economic Alliance and SchoCo Forward Business Task Force initiatives. SEEC is also redefining our Business, Retention & Expansion program having COVID-crisis learnings top-of-mind. We encourage ALL businesses to participate in the SchoCo Promise demonstrating our business community desire to stay healthy and stay open.

We recognize and continue to be proud of our local businesses for reimagining their future. SEEC is here to offer assistance and guidance along the way.
