Anita Ferguson from Tuscarora Nation is well known for her velvet and beadwork collars and cuffs, and traditional outfits. She uses the embossed, or raised beadwork technique employed by Tuscarora women as far back as the 1800s. This is the first time the Museum will showcase Anita’s skills.
