COBLESKILL – CALLING ALL EVENT PLANNERS! The Schoharie County Chamber of Commerce is holding an Event Collaboration Workshop on August 18th from 2 PM to 4 PM at The Gathering Place, 124 Kenyon Road in Cobleskill. All businesses and organizations are welcome attend. The purpose of this workshop is to assist in the planning and coordination of area event dates, plus give guidance on how to better promote your events. If you plan events for your business or organization, you are encouraged to participate in this informative workshop.
A panel of guest speakers with major event planning experience will present on the following topics: Marketing Strategies to Get Your Event Noticed by Mohamed Baligh (SUNY Cobleskill); Utilizing I LOVE NY and Destinations Marketing to Promote Your Event by Cassandra Harrington (Destinations Marketing); Planning Large Scale Events, by Jessica Kirby (New York Power Authority); and Using Eventbrite to Maximize Attendance at Your Event by Ron Ketelsen (Schoharie County Chamber of Commerce).
