Julie Pacatte
Executive Director
Julie Pacatte, a Howes Cave native and Cobleskill High School graduate, brings a wealth of experience in real estate and economic development to her role at SEEC. Her career spans from central Florida to the mid-Atlantic and across New York State, where she has successfully led a range of community development projects.
Since joining SEEC in September 2019, Julie has played a crucial role in implementing the Economic Development Strategy developed by Peter Fairweather for Schoharie County. During the COVID-19 pandemic, she expertly navigated the crisis by leading business outreach efforts, conducting surveys, and establishing a Resiliency Fund to support local enterprises. Julie also initiated a “Digital Revolution,” facilitating millions in investments to help businesses adapt and thrive. Additionally, she has directed co-investments with local businesses, property owners, and community benefactors, driving significant economic recovery and growth.
Julie’s dedication to economic development is matched by her commitment to her personal life. She cherishes time with her daughter, Gabbi, and her pets, including her pup Paco, as well as Kudo, Gucci, and RoRo. Julie is enthusiastic about continuing her work with SEEC and contributing to the ongoing prosperity of Schoharie County. Feel free to reach out to her at director@seecny.org.
